Just a quickie post to say as much as I can in pictures!
First of all, the Relay Raiders RFL Clothing Fair opens this morning, and I’m happy to be a part of it. More information can be found here.
These two hats are what I have created to be sold for RFL donations.
And a sale…
5L hats in the stores!
And in my mobvend at Haute Couture…
Until some time today (Wednesday), everything at the Caledon SouthEnd shop is 50% off, unless it’s not in a vendor.
I’m moving my store to a new location within Caledon (soon to be announced), and in the spirit of things, I thought a moving sale could be fun.
It will end without notice. 🙂
I am terrible with blogging! I need to catch up on all the new hats I’ve released since … eek! December!
But I’m blogging this: there’s a sale on at Hatpins. Two, as a matter of fact. One is only for today only, Friday the 6th of February, and one has been going since the 1st and is going until the night of the 14th.
What this means is that I’ve got about 60 single hats marked down to 100L each. Most of them are because today is my rez day and I’m celebrating with a today-only sale, and the rest are all red ones in honour of Valentine’s Day.
I’ve also got a 5L top hat up for sale in honour of Valentine’s Day. You can’t miss it, it has heart particles coming out of the display. The hat has them too, but you can turn them off.
Here are some of some of the hats that are on special. The ones pictured are some of the new releases since December, but there are lots more to be found in the shop, both new releases and sales hats.
I hope everybody is doing well! Here’s the latest at Hatpins. Have a great day!
Every single fatpack in my Caledon SouthEnd, Haute Couture and Oak Tree Shoppes shops are half price until the end of the month. 🙂
And … my Peace On Earth contribution:
I admit it, I am not the world’s best blog keeper. But anyways – here’s the latest at Hatpins!
Coming December 1st:
- A new group gift. It can be worn by both genders, and that’s all I’m going to say about it.
- The lucky chairs will have their gifts changed. Finally. :3
- The camp-for-hats chairs in Caledon SouthEnd and Haute Couture will have their hats change, too.
- A 50% off sale. Every day, something new will be at half price. Could be a fatpack, could be a lapel watch… who knows! This will go until December 30th, as I am leaving town on the 31st and won’t be able to get online.
A reminder about deliveries!
I deliver hats as a free service to my customers. What I need from you are the following, sent in a notecard, please:
- The name of the hat.
- The transaction number.
- The name of the recipient.
Additionally, you can opt to have a note sent along with the hat, which will be sent in a folder called Delivery from Hatpins. I also IM the recipient prior to sending to let them know that it’s on the way.
Hatpins is pleased to be in the Peace on Earth grid wide hunt, which starts December 2nd. A peaceful hat (as opposed to a violent one?) will be available to all hunters at the Haute Couture shop.
And now for pictures of what Hatpins is known for – HATS!
First of all – the 5L candy corn hat from Hallowe’en seemed quite popular, so here’s a candy cane hat – also for 5L!
Next up – another top hat, and one of my current favourites: Lord Rudolph.
Another top hat to follow – this one is for the ladies. Lady Endora, who was born during Hallowe’en, and then became a 9-pack at Hatpins, has now gone seasonal.
I forgot to blog the 9-pack, but it’s in the shop, and probably one of my best sellers, behind the Tatiana and Minerva hats. Oh, and here they are, too, decked out for the season. The festive hats are all 50L less than their non-festive counterparts, too.
I thought it’d be fun to make it snow, so I did. It’s snowing in the corner of my Haute Couture shop, and if you wear one of these next hats, you will make it snow, too. There are two hats in each vendor, one that snows, and one that does not. This is a rework of last year’s winter hat, Lady Winter II.
And a hat shop just wouldn’t be a hat shop without a Santa hat, would it?
And finally, a bunch of winter hats. Ladies Julia and Hollis, respectively.
Hello! I hope this update finds you in good health and happy spirits. 🙂
Here’s a little update on what’s new at Hatpins.
First of all – the group gift! It can be found at all three full shops (Zebranky, Caledon, Haute Couture). It’s also for sale, so make sure you get the right one. 🙂 Don’t forget to wear your group tag, either! This will only be available as a group gift until 15 October, and then it’s gone. Landmarks are at the bottom of this note.
Second – new hats. And I themed them for Hallowe’en, which seemed like a fun thing to do. These hats are available only at the Haute Couture and Caledon SouthEnd shops due to space restriction. Oh, and at Haute Couture, there’s a Lady Cordelia hat hanging from a hat rack who is only 25L instead of 175L.
Please allow me to show the new hats to you:
Lady Jacqueline, who is also the group gift, is up first. She’s Victorian in style, and has got embroidery on her. She’s the fraternal twin of Lord Jacques, who is a Victorian smoking hat for gentlemen. Both are black hats with orange and green embroidery — well, pictures say more than I can. 🙂
Next is Lady Hecate, who is a sexy witch hat in gothic colours.
And next is Lady Endora, who is a top hat with black and orange ornamentation.
Lastly is another set of fraternal twins, the Witchiepoos. Isn’t that a lovely name? One has a veil of cobwebs dangling from the tip, and the other is without. Both hats emit spiders when you touch the cobwebs on the cone. Not recommended for arachnophobes.
Also, at the Oak Trees shop, please let me draw your attention to a pile of boxes at the end of Hatpins’ pathway. Accompanying the pile is a sign that reads Tiny Threads.
These are Tiny dresses, and they’re all Victorian. Furthermore, they’ve all got matching hats. If you’d just rather have the dress because you’ve got or don’t want the hat, please notecard me, and I’ll deduct the hat price and sell the dress on its own. My hats do fit Tiny heads, and only need to be adjusted in position! :3
Thank you for reading, and be warned that a new dollarbie will be happening around the 15th! Oh, and another group gift is coming your way soon, as well. The group reached and went over 100 people, and I did promise a gift then.
Miss Reghan Straaf.
Please come down today to Hatpins to celebrate the opening of the new hat shop at Haute Couture!
There’ll be special prices, dancing with Radio Riel providing the music, refreshments, and the best part – a goodie bag! I don’t know about you, but I just simply loooove goodie bags.
Time: 5pm SLT to 7pm SLT
Date: Monday, 22 of September (happy first day of autumn!)
Hope to see you there. 🙂
Oh, and while I’m here…some more releases for today.
Hatpins is expanding! On Monday, between 5 and 7pm SLT, Hatpins is having a Grand Opening event and sale at the brand new location at Haute Couture. Come join me for price specials, dancing, and refreshments, and a free goodie box! Music will be supplied by Radio Riel. Please join us at the celebrations: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Haute%20Couture/187/65/24 …did I mention the goodie box?
The new Hatpins will be a little different. Expect the same elegance as found in the Victorian shops, but also expect to find a few hats here that won’t be found in the Victorian ones, due to the fact that they’re for more modern tastes.
* Hatpins has moved from Caledon Downs to its new, larger location in Caledon SouthEnd. You can find the larger shop here. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Caledon%20SouthEnd/61/178/23
There are more hats to be released, as well as two new lapel watches, and a new dollarbie hat. Please see below for their pictures! More hats to come for Monday.
Lady Reghan III made her debut today. She’s replacing Lady Reghan II, who is destined for the retirement folder. She made her entrance at my main shop in Caledon Downs first, and has now been made available at Antiquity (a small shop), Caledon Downs (my main shop) and Oak Tree Shoppes (my secondary shop).
The veil is detachable.
Today was the official launching of Antiquity Fashion Park in Antiquity. Hatpins is there now, with a small selection of favourite hats, and a new hat called Lady Gabrielle.
There was a fashion show in which a multitude of vintage designers submitted their clothing, and some free things, too.
I actually have a free – yes, free, not 1L – item in my shop, but it’s only going to be there until about 11pm SLT, and then I’m going to put the price up to 125L when I release it a little later.
It was a lot of fun to see the other designers there, and this was the very first show in which I was asked to submit hats for a couple of the outfits. That was a real kick, I have to say! So I submitted the new Lady Gabriella, and the popular Lady Tatiana with Scarlet Roses.
